MEET LORIE MATZ, CMT
Lorie Matz, Certified Massage Therapist at North Country Massage & Bodyworks, grew up in rural Aitkin County in Minnesota. After 17 successful years in the machining industry, she felt a calling to drastically change career paths and became a massage therapist.
Lorie is committed to providing the most
comprehensive care for her clients. She routinely participates in continuing education classes to improve upon her existing techniques and learn new massage procedures. She keeps informed about breakthrough tools and machines and adds them to her inventory of therapy aids whenever practical.
Lorie obtained her certification from the Minneapolis School of Massage and Bodyworks, graduating with 650+ hours of classroom, hands on and clinical experience. She is a member of ABMP, (Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals). She started her own practice in 2003 and has since improved the life of countless clients and developed an impressive roster of regular patrons.
